They say Shibas are not good first dogs because you usually don't have any experience with training or what it is like to have a dog and shibas are going to be a lot harder than more breeds. So the expectations need to be extremely low and patience and time management needs to be extremely high. That being said, I knew a LOT about shibas before
Fortunately, it is pretty easy to house-train a Shiba Inu. This dog is always eager to learn and fulfills all requests of their owners. A Shiba Inu is also playful and agile. They have strong, playful instincts and a body filled with immense energy. They are active, which helps maintain their mental and physical health.
Exercise and Activity Needs. As an active breed, the Shiba Inus requires moderate activity and exercise (Coile, 286). Most experts agree that these dogs need approximately 30–60 minutes of exercise on a daily basis. This can include brisk walks, one-on-one play sessions, light jogs, games, and various activities. qncDnx.
