The boost sits in a shared inventory slot (blue icon instead of a normal bag) and it should be impossible to remove or delete it so the only way to get it out of there is to use it. Which means it should either still be in there or you used it when you got HoT. (It is possible to use it on a character who is level 80 already, in which case you

7. Atgsrs. • 2 yr. ago. You can still use the boost on a level 80 and you’ll get all the gear that comes with it. So you wouldn’t need to make a new guardian. That being said, you can also acquire celestial gear in other ways, if you feel that it’s a waste to boost an already-level 80. Kriegotter22. • 2 yr. ago.
Originally posted by Buzzerker: Nothing in GW2 is worth the money. 'Worth' or 'Value' in this game are completely subjective concepts. Your question is an invitation for persuasion. You won't be 'farming gold' until you reach level 80 and have exotic gear, it won't be easy but it will be repetitive.
Simple answer is the only 'good' way to use the lvl 80 boost is on a second toon you use to get the glider and raptor mount then put it away and go back and level up naturally. Leveling in GW2 IS the tutoral. Besides, leveling for many of us was a very fun part of the game and it isn't the same going back on a Level 80 and doing the stuff.

Buying HoT with PoF isn't the same as "buying HoT" like other people did. They paid $60 for the expansion and that slot. Path of Fire was half the price at its most expensive and later gives away HoT for free with purchase, so no slot because the expansion was technically retired (hence the give away of the outfit and other related items) and doesn't exist anymore beyond the unique Masteries.
If you get a box/bag of loot, opening it on a level 80 character will have it drop level 74-80 loot. Doing so on a lowbie character will result in lowbie loot. Many players like to open bags on a level 50 character for the materials, for example.
General knowledge is to refrain from using a boost to skip leveling as a new player and I'm sure you'll get lots of reasoning why that is the case. My personal choice however would be based on the usefulnes of the equipment you get; all level 80 exotics of boosted characters is celestial stats combinations. I get what you're saying, but it's kinda comparing apples to oranges imo. If you're looking for a money-making level 80 boost, a new account is always going to be better because of daily logins. If you're looking for a level 80 character to play that has all the convenience items and boosts that your main account does, this is a great deal. It's a double edged sword, the classes that are the hardest/slowest to level are also the classes (arguably) that are the hardest to learn if you insta boost to 80. (Mesmer, engineer, elementalist imo) if you boost a warrior or ranger, you can play them with fair efficiency almost out the gate since they are so straight forward. I'm currently playing as a Revenant and I really enjoyed the default build that comes with the Revenant after using the Level-80 Boost. But I changed everything after testing Renegade. I didn't like Renegade, because I keep dying and I want to go back to the default build, but I can't find it anywhere. The wiki does have the traits, but some of Eat XP boost food. Use guild banner for another XP boost. (If one is available) Hit Diessa Plateau and start kill everything on the map especially the yellow mobs. Rinse and repeat. The longer mobs are alive on the map the more bonus XP they will give. You can get around 10 levels in an hour this way.
Returning player here, I played at release for maybe a year, and just started again about a week or so ago. I had a level 80 character from way back, and a couple of days ago, I decided to use one of my level 80 boosts to level up an alt. Going pretty good so far, as far as playing the character goes, but I have a weird question regarding the gear.
Instanced Group Content. Level 80 boost advice for a PvE character needed. About the only PvE I have ever done in this game is running around do World Boss events. Most of my time spent in game was 80% WvW and the other 20% messing around in battlegrounds, or whatever they are called here. About the only PvE I did was a handful of runs in
